Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian kandunqan asam amino dalam teripang (Hotothuria Sp.) dengan menggunakan Amino acid analyzer, Hasil- penelitian ternyata teripang memiliki kandungan 18 macam asam amino baku, dengan kadar masing-masing asam aminonya adalah: Aspartat 6,1869%, Treonin 3,5877 8, Serin. 3,4199%, Glutamat 10,1528%, Prolin 2,6405%, Glisin 6,5884%, Alanin 4,7460%, Sistin 0.6867%, Valin 2,2578%, Metionin 0,2944%, Isoleusin 2,2084%, Leusin 4,5400%, Tirosin L,8004%, Fenilalanin 2,1551%, Lisin 3,8213%, Histidin 1.1248%, Triptofan 0'0338%, Arginin 4,9641%. Sedangkan kadar masing-masing asam amino dalam teripang basah adalah : Aspartat O,7448%, Treonin 0,3932%, Serin 0,3748%, Glutamat 1,1911%, Pro1in 0,2894%, Glisin 0,6755%, Alanin A,5202%, Sistin 0,0750%, Valin 0,2475%, Metionin 0,0322%, Isoleusin 0,242O%, Leusin 0,4916%, Tirosin 0,1973%, Fenilalanin O,2362%, Lisin 0,4188%, Histidin 0,1233%, Triptofan 0,0038%. Arginin 0,5468%.
