Abstract
Tugas Akhir ini mencoba mengaplikasikan teknologi FPGA pada DE1 board dalam mendesain decoder file gambar berformat JPEG yang tersimpan di sebuah SD Card . Decoding adalah rekonstruksi dari suatu kode menjadi data aslinya. Tahapan pengerjaan meliputi: pembuatan kontroler SD Card , pembacaan struktur file system atau dikenal dengan istilah FAT ( File Allocation Table ), pembuatan JPEG decoder , dan penampilan hasil decoding ke layar monitor. Hasil desain berupa sistem dengan kemampuan menampilkan file gambar berformat JPEG yang tersimpan di sebuah SD Card pada layar monitor
