Abstract

This paper presents comparison of three different PI controller parameters for stirred heating tank. The aim of this research is to implement the optimisation method for PI controller tuning. Control performance were then evaluated and compared with two other method, i.e. direct synthesis and Cohen Coon. The result showed that the optimization method give the best tuning performance as it resulted in the lowest sum square of errors.
