Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design an information system concept to improve information transfer that aligns with the organization strategy. This research uses qualitative interpretive research method by interview the key person, observation and document analysis to collect data and know what the need and the problem in the company. Afterward the recommendations were given based on the theory. The research show that the company need a information system to transfer information effectively but have a problem on organization culture which mostly that each division work for their own purpose. The culture problem has its own history for the emerged. The research also show that the organizational structure which not align with the company group structure and company vision mission that less socialized within the company also contribute to make the problem bigger and deeper. The recommendation was given in order to help the company design an information system concept that align with the organization strategy and improve the information transfer within the company. A proposal for the information system concept was also given.
