In an educational institutions, asset and inventory is not the core of their business process, but if the assets are not handled properly, it can lead to loss of material for the educational institutions, such as the wasteful use of inventory, multiple purchases on the same asset, and so forth. Therefore, they need a system that can manage the informations of the assets, in order to be used optimally. The asset management information system created in the web version, in order to avoid the repetitive installation process and minimize reliance on certain operating systems or need special software. This information system is expected to assist the College of Engineering at University X in regulating the use of its assets, including reminders software licenses owned, avoid buying the same asset in different Majors, recording the age of the assets and inventory, report the statistics usage of consumables inventory, recording appliance repair, facilitate recording of stock opname, and ultimately optimize the use of funds in the school budget.
