Abstract
‘Beasiswa Simpati’ is a scholarship awarded at each semester by the University of 'X' to students with low financial capabilities. To achieve that students have to apply and submit some documents which describe their financial conditions. Because there is limited budget for these scholarship opportunities, so University of 'X' must conduct student selection session to choose appropriate student for the purpose. The student selection session is conducted by academic advisor team who has been designated in each major department. After the scholarship document submissions are received by the Faculty, they will distribute these documents to each major department, then these documents will be submitted to the academic advisor team. The academic advisor team will conduct a selection process to select suitable students with multiple criterias or considerations, such as academic achievement, family income, number of dependents, and other criterias. Purpose of this research is to provide recommendation to decide whether the student is highly recommended, quite recommended, or not recommended to receive the scholarship, using Multi-Attribute Global Inference of Quality (MAGIQ) as the decision support system method.
