Abstract
This paper discusses the interaction between PV and air conditioning and how this can be exploited for a classroom at University of Surabaya campus. A cost analysis of the proposed grid-connected systems are calculated, including total investment, payback period and levelized costs. The most efficient way to connect PVs and air conditioning for a classroom is through a grid connected system. Simulation result shows that a 12 kWp PV system and the new AC units of COP 4,0 gives the LCOE about -3,334 IDR/kWh
