Abstract
Krisis global yang sempat terjadi pada tahun 1997, mengakibatkan beberapa perusahaan mengalami kesulitan financial dan beberapa diantaranya terpaksa menghentikan kegiatan bisnis mereka. Beberapa lembaga keuangan multinasional mengidentifikasi kejadian ini sebagai dampak dari buruknya pelaksanaan corporate governance di perusahaan.
