Abstract
Asthma is one of the major health problems in the world. Pharmaceutical care can optimize therapy by preventing drug-selection problem will affect health care costs. This research aims to know what how much treatment cost in drug-selection problem had happened in hospitalized asthma bronchiale patient in hospital. Samples were collected using retrospective methods. Patients involved in this study were 54 patients, with total number of the problems were 259 cases. The cost of drug-related problems was IDR 28,631,527.29. This study demonstrates that effective and rational treatment can influence treatment cost.
