Abstract
Obsessive compulsive disorder of hygiene makes a person perform repetitive rituals of cleanliness to overcome the fear of danger (usually bacterial disease), which actually tend not to exist. This study aims to determine the dynamics of disturbance, causes, factors that make problems persist, until the impact arising from the disorder. The study was conducted on two subjects aged 20-22 years who have obsessive compulsive disorder. Research using qualitative research design with descriptive analysis method. Method of data collection using interviews. observation, questionnaires, psychological tests, and self-monitoring sheet. Results showed that obsessive compulsive about cleanliness disorder on both subjects came from families that parenting is very concerned cleanliness and forcing the subject to comply with all rules of hygiene in their homes. This habit continued until the subject become adult. They became anxious if they do not do the ritual. Strict control of the family and anxiety make the disorder persisted. This disorder makes the client maintain the cleanliness of the body and a nearby object to cause excessive fatigue but unable to control it.
