Abstract

Tourism is a very important sector in the economy of a country or region. Tourism's contribution to the State or local income is increasing. For that how tourism affects the economy becomes an important concern of government. Surabaya as the second largest city in Indonesia turned out not to have a good tourism performance. The arrival of foreign tourists have only contributed less than 3% compared to the national. For this study aims to analyze the economic impact of tourism in Surabaya via input-output approach and the multiplier effect.
