Abstract

Psychological well-being is a positive feeling that becomes an individual's judgment to be seen properly by an Environment. Things that greatly affect well-being in this study are the task of development and tradition demand as a Triwangsa. Challenges comes from their family and environmental. People with Triwangsa title should prevent their caste. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between parental attachment and psychological well-being in emerging adulthood Triwangsa. The method of taking participants is a snowball sampling with 100 participants. The research questionnaire consisted of an open questionnaire, the attachment questionnaire IPPA (Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment) and the Ryff Psychologicalall Well Being 42-item Psychological Well-being questionnaire. The analysing using multiple regression methods. The results showed a positive difference between parental attachment and psychological well-being (R = 0.489; sig = 0.00).The conclusion is higher attachment of parents, is the higher psychological well-being of emerging adulthood Triwangsa. Increasingly, the lower parental attachment, the lower psychological well-being too. Its mean there is correlation between parental attachments and psychological well-being in emerging adulthood Triwangsa.
