Abstract
Competition in the business world is increasing day by day, causing the company's need for competent human resources is increasingly increasing. Likewise with PT. XYZ which is a company engaged in the distribution of consumer goods in this case food and beverages, as a company engaged in distribution, the most important main asset is competent human resources capable of supporting operational activities throughout Indonesia. Competent human resources are created as the company's main capital in carrying out its operations and as a means of achieving competitive advantage that distinguishes the company PT.XYZ from other companies. The purpose of this design is to create a competency dictionary and competency standards in the HRGA Department of PT. XYZ. This design method is a qualitative method using humanistic subjects to obtain data and information. The results of this design are in the form of a competency dictionary and competency standards at each level of position in the HRGA Department of PT. XYZ. The resulting Competency Dictionary classifies competencies into 3 groups namely Core Competency, Managerial Competency, and Technical Competency. The designer suggested that PT. XYZ company needs competency identification for all Departments by involving people who are experts in their fields and conducted an assessment process to determine the competency needs that must be fulfilled by PT. XYZ in order to improve the competency of human resources in PT. XYZ company.
