Abstract

Psychotic disorders have been identified as mental disorders that are closely related to neurobiological factors. Over the times, studies in recent years resulting that social events, especially negative events with the theme of harassment, are related to the etiology of psychotic personalities. This research was conducted with the aim to find out the personality dynamics in a person with psychotic disorders who became a victim of bullying in his teens by adolescent peers. In this study, will be explained several things that were identified as etiological factors and triggers of the emergence of psychotic disorders experienced by participant. Researcher use the case study method with a qualitative approach. Participant in this study were a 31-year-old man named Iwan (pseudonym). Researcher used interview, observation and several types of psychological tests. The results of the examination showed that brief psychotic disorder that had repeatedly occurred within a period of 15 years in the participant themselves, were the culmination of the various treatments and experiences received by participant since childhood, which mostly indicated the role of external factors, including the experience of being a victim of bullying by peers.
