Participants in this study are boys and girls aged 18-22 years (N=80) who become active members in "X" fitness center. The results show that the greatest motivation of adolescent boys and girls doing fitness is having an ideal body. The boys want to shape their bodies so as to look hefty, athletic, cool, macho, and attractive to girls. Most of the girls' motivation is quite the same, to get the the ideal body because lean body will look sexy and attractive to boys.
