Abstract

In raw material inventory planning, supplier selection is one of the most important factors that must be obeyed because it involves long term commitment among company and supplier. This study has been concentrated on intergrated supplier selection and raw material inventory planning to maximize the order quantity at suppliers whose best performance. At the first stage of the methodology, the criteria for supplier selection are evaluated by using Promethee method. And then at the second stage, the Fuzzy Goal Programming model developed to determine the allocation of order quantity which considered all of the objectives to be achieved. The integrated model is a general form that can be tailored and applied by firms that are making decisions on supplier selection and inventory planning system.
