Abstract
Skin aging is a complex biological process that is influenced by a combination of endogenous or intrinsic factors (genetics, cellular metabolism, hormones, and metabolic processes) and exogenous or extrinsic (chronic light exposure, pollution, ionizing radiation, chemicals, and poisons. ermentation can increase the physiological and biochemical activity of the substrate by facilitating molecules, so that fermented products may be more compatible with unfermented products.Successful fermentation often depends on strain selection. Selectionof the right microorganisms for the fermentation process can not only metabolize herbs or herbal extracts but can also increased their physiological activity and decreased their cytotoxicity.
