Abstract

Tourism is the sector most affected by this pandemic. Many tourist villages in Indonesia have experienced a decrease in the number of visitors and even closed operations during the pandemic. Moreover, for the tourism village initiation program, all programs carried out have been stopped and must be shifted towards programs that can strengthen the concept of a sustainable tourism village. Kedungudi Village in Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia has great natural tourism potential and started the initiation of tourism villages before the pandemic. The tourism village initiation activity that has just been carried out has been hampered by the pandemic. By using facilitative and participatory methods, all components of the community are involved in planning and implementing resilience strategies in the Kedungudi tourism village initiation program. Several programs are run as part of the resilience strategy of the Kedungudi tourism village initiation program, namely providing screen printing business skills, establishing a waste bank, and preparing food products that can become a trademark of Kedungudi Village.
