Abstract

The aim of internship is to add knowledge and also to build a better human resource for the future. Beside that, this internship also a program that will give more knowledge and experience for student as well as increase the worker quality for future needed. Because from internship student will face so many problem and real case that they will not get from university. At last, student who took internship will be easier to get their job in the future because they already know what is the real work do from that internship. This study scope is about working as an auditor in PwC Surabaya, which is actually called as an assurance in PwC company. PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia is located at Pakuwon Center, TP 5, 22 Floor Unit 5, Embong Malang Street No 1, 3, and 5, Surabaya. The writer choose this company because this company is the Big 4 Accounting Company in Indonesia which is from this company the writer sure that she will get more knowledge and experience about auditor work for future needed. In addition, there are so many other professional worker in the company that the writer can learn from. As written in the paragraph before, this internship report will discuss about Assurance business work. The task of this kind of job is not simply just “work with numbers” but also to understand them. This job is an associate consists of supporting audit projects. The clients of this fields represent almost every sector of the economy. Who work in this field will have opportunity to expand knowledge by working with the best specialists in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the global market. Working as a PwC auditor will also receive strong support from the team, expand professional network, and gain practical experience working with different clients on different projects. Auditor here will help client to understand the complexity of the regulator, strengthen their trust and transparency also understand the risk of some company. Finally, after finish the internship the writer can give conclusion that work as an Auditor in PwC will give a big impact for the writer because the knowledge will gain also add more experience for the future needed. So with that experience, It will help the internship student easier to adjust and get work.
