Abstract
Good preparation to anticipate volcanic eruption will have an impact on minimizing the number of victims, the amount of damage, and recovery speed of the victim's livelihood after eruption occurred. One of the preparations that must be done is to coordinate and integrate all stakeholders into a flow of aid in a logistic and supply chain management. Each stakeholder is interrelated but has different roles and functions. In this book, a humanitarian logistics and supply chains was designed by taking into account the location and volcano characteristics. The design includes the identification of stakeholders involved in disaster management and their respective roles, identification of location and volcano characteristics combined with accessible databases. The results of this design were tested with case studies on 3 different volcanoes using real data on site. This design can improve efficiency and effectiveness in dealing with disasters.
