Abstract

Innovation and improvement of the Indonesian economic system continue to develop, both in regulations and implementation. Through the aspiration to achieve the welfare state, the government thus implements various policies to put down the renewal of the national economy and develop it for prosperity. Especially with the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19 or SARS-CoV-2) which emerged at the end of 2019. These policies are to assist the community with economic recovery. However, the corruption that occurred during this period harmed these communities. This study used a qualitative method with an empirical literature approach, made by collecting documents of government policy related to this research. The results of this research showed that preventing corruption requires more attention, not only in laws but also in morals. Evaluation and changes of legal policies in the field of corruption are appropriate steps that need to consider so that the interests of law and society can get maintained and protected. National law reforms, especially those related to corruption in business and corporate crimes, no longer only focus on the prosecution process. Prevention is a step that needs to take as the government's first attempt to ensure compliance. The prevention of this crime comes in the form of supervision and guidance equipped with various forms of sanctions and actions.
