Abstract

The development of digital technology is one of the latest innovations in increasing labor productivity and efficiency. This phenomenon has a significant role in the progress of modern society, of course it will open up wider job opportunities, especially in the context of the digital workforce. The use of digital technology also facilitates continuous learning which enables the workforce to be able to adapt to current developments. Improving digital skills for the workforce is a must-have requirement in the process of accelerating competence as digital talent in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This research aims to find out how much use of digital technology has affected workforce competency in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with secondary data. The research results found that the use of digital technology makes work more efficient and effective. Investment in education and digital skills development is important for a workforce that wants to remain relevant and competitive in the technological era as well as a workforce that uses technology and also contributes to economic transformation in various sectors, especially the information and communications sector
