Abstract

The banking sector in Indonesia is a sector that plays an important role, so banks are expected to create more stable economic conditions in the country by improving their financial performance. Good bank financial performance is very necessary for the smooth operation of the bank. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial ratios on profit growth in non-foreign exchange commercial banks for the 2013-2022 period. This study used a quantitative type of research. The data used in the study is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements published by each bank. The data sample in the study is 5 (five) non-foreign exchange commercial banks in Indonesia based on the list of publications of the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan(OJK). The data analysis method uses panel data regression models with the help of the Eviews9 application. The results showed that simultaneously, financial ratios have an influence on profit growth. The Liquidity Ratio in the form of LDR has a positive and insignificant relationship direction to ROA, the solvency ratio reflected in CAR has a negative and significant relationship direction to ROA, and the profitability ratio in the form of NIM has a positive and significant relationship direction to ROA
