Abstract

Innovation and improvement of the Indonesian economic system continues to develop, both in terms of regulations and implementation. Through the aspiration to achieve the welfare state, the government implements various policies to put down the renewal of the national economy and develop it for prosperity. Especially with the impact of the coronavirus outbreak which emerged at the end of 2019 up to 2023. One of these policies is to provide assistance to the community for economic recovery. However, the corruption that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic actually harmed the community. This study uses a qualitative methodology with an empirical literature approach. The approach is done by collecting data in the form of government policy documents related to research. The results of the study show that the prevention of corruption requires more attention, not only in terms of laws and regulations, but also in terms of morals. Evaluation and changes to legal policies in the field of corruption are appropriate steps that need to be considered so that the interests of law and society are maintained and protected. National law reforms, especially those related to corruption in business crimes and corporate crimes, no longer only focus on the process of prosecution. Prevention is a step that needs to be taken as the government's first attempt to ensure compliance. The prevention of this crime comes in the form of supervision and guidance which is equipped with various forms of sanctions and actions.
