Abstract

Investing Behavior During Pandemic Covid-19: Investing (Stock) or Emergency Fund. Thinking, such as turning around existing funds rather than putting them in the bank, is one of the reasons many people don't have an emergency fund. During the Covid-19 pandemic which is full of uncertainty, an emergency fund is the main element that must be met. The phenomenon that actually developed in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic was the investment trend and left the importance of emergency funds and the extreme of using 'hot money' in investing. The writing of this paper aims to see changes in investor behavior during the pandemic, investigate the biases that arise and mitigate them, as well as the decisions that can be made between investing and preparing an emergency fund, especially during a pandemic.
