PT EXIM Jaya Abadi is a company engaged in the field of procurement and delivery services for import and export goods. This fieldwork report uses the internship program method conducted at the PT EXIM Jaya Abadi office, located at 45 Karet Street, Bongkaran, Pabean Cantikan, Surabaya City, East Java. The internship period lasted for 13 weeks. The purpose of this internship program was to understand how PT EXIM Jaya Abadi conducts personal selling activities and to find effective strategies to increase sales volume and improve customer response through proper personal selling techniques. The theories referenced in this program included marketing management, personal selling, and the steps of personal selling. Based on observations and analyses during the internship program, it was revealed that PT EXIM Jaya Abadi has implemented personal selling in accordance with the theories, but there are still many aspects that need improvement to align with the correct steps in personal selling. PT EXIM Jaya Abadi's shortcomings in conducting personal selling were the lack of qualifying and follow-up stages as outlined in the theoretical steps of personal selling. Several obstacles identified must be addressed to enhance sales and improve customer response in the future.
