Abstract

This study focuses on mapping the potential of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in East Java using Correspondence Analysis to support sectoral business development. MSMEs are crucial for economic growth in Indonesia, contributing significantly to employment and local development. The research identifies key sectors in various regions using the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI), which allows for a detailed analysis of economic activities. The results highlight the dominant business sectors in specific regions and their contribution to regional economic dynamics. Correspondence Analysis provides a clear visual representation of the relationship between regions and business sectors, offering valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of tailored strategies for MSME development to enhance regional competitiveness
