Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the relationship between store image with customer satisfaction at BP supermarket Surabaya. It was to find out what attributes of the store image that affect customer satisfaction and aspects of customer satisfaction that can create the customer satisfaction at BP Supermarket. The characteristic of partisipant was people who have been shopping at BP Supermarket, age above 18 years old, and at least a high school graduate. Non randomized sampling was applied to this study and the statistic tehnique are the regretion analysis and partial corellation. The results indicated that there is a relationship between store image and customer satisfaction at BP supermarket, and that there are three attributes of store image that effects the dynamic or level of customer satisfaction at BP, i.e. physical attributes, merchandise attributes, and public service attributes. The attributes that relate to purchasing are the attributes that can create the customer satisfaction at BP Surabaya.
