Abstract
Universitas Surabaya is one of private universities located in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The university has a great concern about it’s main processes: teaching and learning processes. In order to get student’s feedback related to the teaching and learning processes, the university conducted surveys about the teaching and learning processes. The use of traditional paper based evaluation were considered not efficient as it required a lot of work and need a very long time to process. The university then introduced the online based course evaluation provided through myUbaya portal to enable the student to give feedback anytime they want to during the period. The paper discuss the problems of using such online system as well as strategies to improve the number of student’s participation.
