PT X is a private media company. The company wants to improve the work of its Human Resource department, which is a department that maintaining all administration processes related to the employee. During these times, its activities are done manually, in which everything is written down on paper. By using the process, it is difficult to find some urgent data fast, and, sometimes, there is a delay on the payment process. By the development of the company, which, indirectly, increases the number of its employee, this condition is no longer effective for it. So, it decides to apply a computerize system for the work of the department. By the use of computers, hopefully, the administration process in the department will be more effective and efficient. The system that is going to be made is handling the recruitment test for the applicants. For the employees, it handles the employee's skill inventories, the performance appraisal and reference, presence, and the payment process, including the tax calculation process. The process in making the application program is based on the Classic Life Cycle Model, which steps forwards through the analysis, design, coding, and testing process. After implementing the new system, it is found that it is able to decrease times that usually used by the department in finding some urgent data and to do the manual recruitment process. This means that it increases the efficiency on the work of the department. Beside, the computerize salary calculation process with its automatic tax calculation process able to help the work of the department to be more effective and reduce the human error factor.
