Today's computer based information system is network based information system, where all data are being shared in network to ease up administration process and staffs. This type of network will need some kind of security controller for controlling client's action known as server. An administrator is needed to handle and supervise this type of network. Unfortunately, a problem will occur when company has grown with several branch offices, where each branch office adapts previously discussed type of network but company only hires one administrator to handle and supervise these networks. Probably the best solution to help administrator in solving this problem is to have an application that can control each of the server remotely. This solution is the basic idea in creating this final project, which focuses in managing LINUX operating system users and groups. This final project's implementation uses PHP as the basic scripting language for creating this application added with Pluggable authentication Module (PAM) authentication method for authenticating users that tries to log in.
