Abstract
Good Corporate Governance discourse that emerged right now required business to apply the principle of public accountability if it wishes to enter international business. It must not be forgotten in implementing Good Corporate Governance is a matter of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the company both internally and to external parties. Every company should be responsible for business activities that may affect the public of certain parties in general, as well as the environment around the company operates. This means that the company should run its business in such a way that will ultimately help create a prosperous society. Many industries in Indonesia that has been put Corporate Social Responsibility as a program that should continue to be run by the company. This article aims to provide a brief overview on the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in the industrialized world as part of Good Corporate Governance in Indonesia. The method used in this article is a descriptive method to describe phenomena that are currently happening. The result is a many of companies that implement Corporate Social Responsibility as a regular program.
