Abstract

This study aims to develop psychological measurement tools that measure the quality of working life of employees, using five dimensions of quality of working life, namely health & well being, job security, job satisfaction, competency development, and work & non-work life balance. This research is important to do, because the quality of working life measurement tool with these five dimensions is still relatively new, and quality of working life also an important thing to consider by an organization. There were 109 participants involved in the main data collection. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design, and is descriptive. Based on the results of this study, the measuring instrument that researchers developed had met the psychometric standards. There are several series of analyzes that researchers conducted, namely testing the readability of the item to five people, which resulted in 69 item statements, and then tested the measuring instrument to 36 participants, and analyzed the measuring instrument's items, and produced 40 items after there were several items. which was aborted. Then the researchers took the main data measuring tool involving 109 participants, and produced an alpha cronbach of 0.959 and it can be stated that the measuring instrument is reliable, while r count is more than 0.300 which can be interpreted that 40 item statements declared valid.
