Abstract

Managing network is becoming very crusial in modern business environment. Therefor the implementation of Supply Chain Management can guide a company to its competitive advantage. One important element of Supply Chain Management is Supply Management, which is managing company's suppliers. A good Supply Management must be based on a clear performance measurement of suppliers. By this mechanism, a company can maintain a strong relationship and communicate all things that matters in achieving objectives for both sides. In this research, a case study that examine the supplier performance measurement system of company "A" regarding the implementation of Supply Chain Management is conducted. The case of company "A" shows that the supplier performance system based on four criteria of quality, delivery time, quantity and customer service is running well. Although the system is still need to be updated, but it give contribution to company as a tool for managing and communicating with supplier effectively. Also, it has a role as an early warning system of potential problems regarding declining performance of the suppliers.
