Abstract

It is commonly said that the competition in the market is getting more intense. Competition is an incentive to keep innovating and improving productivity so the company must strive to remain efficient and effective and can stay in the race to continue attracting customers. Two popular approaches to improving the production process so that it can provide added value by optimizing its existing resources are Lean Manufacturing and Agile Manufacturing. Lean manufacturing is a production practice that considers all existing resource expenditures to obtain economic value by reducing all forms of waste, while Agile manufacturing is a method applied by the company based on the capabilities and sources of the company's competitive advantage to respond to a dynamic and competitive environment and consumer demands for the products issued by the company. The lean concept is applied to almost all processes in the organization whereas the agile concept is applied in the team to support the integration concept. This research is constructive research in terms of paradigm using the ADDIE model development method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The integration model was tested in a case study at PT. XYZ which still applies traditional production to be able to transform into advanced manufacturing.
