Abstract

Fast food is one of the foods favored by the people of Indonesia. Generally, fast food has a delicious taste and is able to arouse the appetite. The existence of fast food restaurants themselves are scattered in big cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Surabaya, Manado, Bandung, Makassar, Semarang and many more. Self-service technology or self-ordering service is a technology for ordering menus made for customers via a touch screen. However, in using the self service systemthere are various kinds of obstacles, such as queuing when using self service, convenience when choosing products, notifications when orders are ready and many more. Meanwhile, in this modern era with the existence of information and communication technology, for example, social media is growing very rapidly, where now food ordering applications can provide notifications when orders are made or completed and many restaurants are already using self-service systems as a customer attraction, so there is competition between restaurants. By utilizing PWA (Progressive WebApplication) website-based programming, customers can use website applications that can be used on customer devices in ordering products. In addition, the countdown feature and notification when the order is completed can help customers in notifying the order has been completed. Thus this system can facilitate the customer and the restaurant operational activities.
