Abstract

The rooftop PV system is expected to be one of the appropriate solutions for the expansion of the solar energy sector in Indonesia. This paper presents the performance of 3 kWp rooftop PV system installed on the library building roof of the University of Surabaya. The performance of the PV system was monitored online using iSolarcloud Mobile App. iSolarCloud provides operational analysis and mobile operation and maintenance services for plants, which is an extension of Web's functions. It was found that the daily energy output for the PV system varies from 7.50 – 16.0 kWh, with an average of 10.82 kWh. The annual electricity energy production was about 3.9 MWh.
