Abstract
The current final project procedure at Informatics Engineering Faculty of 'X' University still runs manually. There are three major procedures that every college students who wish to do their final project must attend. These procedures are the submission of the final project, execution of final project, and trial of final project. Today, to attend these procedures, college students are required to fill in forms to be submitted to some parties related to these procedures, such as Head of Department, Head of Laboratory, and Department Administration Officers, for much kind of significant sub procedures that must be taken to accomplish the main procedures. This results in a vast amount of documents that are difficult to maintain. This research focuses on analyzing and developing a prototype of an electronic document system management, which will be applied to two first procedures of Final Project, that are submission and execution. It is expected that using the new system, these paper-based documents will be migrated in electronic form so that they can ben migrated to any related parties, thus document management and procedures efficiency may be achieved
