Abstract

The advenrive shoot organogenesis from callus was observed by using combination of lAA 2.0 mg/L and glutamine (0, 25, 50. 100 mg/L). The best response of adventive shoot induction was observed on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with lAA 2.0 mg/L + glutamine 100 mg/L. When in vitro shoots were grown on to the half-strength MS basal media, rooting were more profuse. Rooted shoots were transplanted in the greenhouse for hardening and their survival rate was approximately higher than 95% in the field condition
