Abstract
Business environment changes very rapidly from time to time, thus companies must think in advance on what strategies will be taken to prepare themselves for increasingly fierce competition in the future. PT. X is a glue manufacturing company that has difficulty in designing strategic management. This study aims to find the most appropriate strategy to be applied by the company. The paradigm used is interpretivism using qualitative methods for PT. X. The research begins by exploring the internal and external conditions of the company and then all possible strategies were generated using the SWOT Matrix and The Grand Strategy Matrix and evaluated by QSPM. Market development strategy was selected as the best strategy for PT. X. Internal and external audit periods are limited to the period of research, so that the resulting alternative strategies are limited to the conditions that occur in that time period.
