Abstract
Paracetamol used as an over-the-counter medication for managing fever and pain. Consequently, paracetamol sales have increased over the past few years and are expected to continue growing. Although it is frequently used, paracetamol is generally considered safe and well-tolerated. However, there are rare but serious potential side effects, such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN). We report a rare but serious reaction involving SJS-TEN associated with paracetamol use, and we will briefly outline the clinical presentation and therapeutic management.
