Abstract

It is undeniable that entrepreneurship plays an important role in the development of a nation, both from an economic perspective, as well as the development of its human elements. From an economic point of view, entrepreneurship serves as a driving force for economic growth, job creation, and social innovation. From the perspective of human development, entrepreneurship provides significant opportunities for the manifestation of achievement motivation, as evidenced in McClelland's research. In running a business that has been established for quite some time, business processes require management to ensure its sustainability. The following research aims to provide an overview of the practice of human resource management, which certainly cannot be separated from the ideology and values held by its owners. A case study conducted by interviews with 4 entrepreneurs will be summarized through thematic analysis. This research is expected to provide new entrepreneurs with insights to achieve better improvement and efficiency by learning from their predecessors.
