Abstract
On a more general level, interest rates have an impact on the overall health of the economy because the effect not only consumers' willingness to spend or save but also businesses' investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of external and internal factors to interest rates in Indonesia with Edward and Khan Model. The result of this study finds that, as an open economy country, the interest rates in Indonesia were influenced by external and internal factors significantly.
