Abstract
Library is a place to access information either in printed or unprinted form. Library gets rapid development, starting in providing printed information to today, library is already able to provide unprinted information. This kind of library is often known as digital library. This research focuses on commonly-found library such at schools, campuses, or offices; that is, library which only provides printed information. This research tries to create a WAP-based (Wireless Application Protocol) information system on book borrowing, so that the library can reach an efficiency on book borrowing routines. This application helps librarian on registration, book orders, book returnings, book stock calculations, and fine estimations when the borrowed books are lost. This information system uses some programming languages, such as WML, xHTML, and PHP as well.
