Abstract
The need of software configuration management, and software improvement or adaptation to organization change has become more important. Software developers should be able to deliver rapid software change according to the customer need to maintain the customer satisfaction, to reduce the time required for change and configuration management, and eventually will reduce the resources required. A programming technique should be applied to software developer, to create a software capable to be scripted even after compile time. The scripting capability, usually for ORM (object relational model) forms and reports, can produce the software that can become an open system, modifiable after the software produced or delivered to the customer. The technique is called open system application generator, to generate scriptable master forms, master-detail forms, reports, language translators and customizable menus. After the codes are generated, the programmer can modify the raw result to meet the customer need using scripting (interpretable) language, and later can be also modified after the software is delivered to the user
