Abstract
The school governance integrated information system requires proper secure and efficient authentication system. Usually the information system consists of many sub systems which each sub system requires authentication for its business processes. By implementing the single sign-on concept, the change management of user accounts and credentials will be easier to manage and operate, either for the users or administrators. This research proposes 2 services for sub system authentication, in form of directory service and web service. To enhance the security of the system some methods are applied during transmission, storage, and backup.
